Pineapple Upside Down Cake

by bakingwithelliott Leave a Comment

Although this may not be the most festive recipe – it’s a retro favourite for the holidays!

This classic cake is always a crowd pleaser, mostly due to its easy nature and simplistic recipe, it’s probably one of the easiest cakes to make and doesn’t require any icing or additional decorating – perfect.

The pineapple and caramel on top add so much flavour and sweetness – you don’t need anything else for the cake. I just love how simple yet effective.

Anyway, let’s get started, shall we?

Ingredients:

75g light brown sugar.

Pineapple juice.

Pineapple rings.
